What to Do If Your Phone Startup Process Takes Long?

If the startup process is taking a longer time, then you may have enabled too many applications in Startup Manager. Startup Manager allows the startup of the applications to boot and startup in the background. You can optimize the startup process by the settings in Startup Manager. Read on and learn how!


Applicable to: ColorOS 3.0 and above devices. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About phone].


Optimize Startup Manager

You can optimize your Startup Manager to disable the applications that do not need to start up when your phone is turned on and run in the background.


For ColorOS 3.1 and above. Go to [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] > [Startup Manager] and disable the applications that are not necessarily be started once turn on the device.

For ColorOS 3.0. Go to [Security Center] / [Security] > [Privacy Permissions] > [Startup Manager] to disable the applications.
