Why is System Apps Missing from the Settings in ColorOS 7.0/7.1 OPPO Phones?

Situation: System Apps is no longer available in Settings page for ColorOS 7.0 and above devices.

Applicable to: ColorOS 7.0/7.1 devices. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Beginning ColorOS 7.0/7.1, System Apps has been removed in Settings. The settings for system apps like Phone, Contacts, Weather, Clock, Messages, Camera, and Photos is already available on the app itself. For example, open the [Messages] app, tap the 2-dots icon  in the upper right corner > [Settings] to access its settings.
