Background

Some users wish to experience Android 7.1 on their F3 devices. Due to the great change for this update, and the only request by a part of users, official software package will not be released, and only Recovery update package is provided in service center to upgrade for those users.

Solution

1. [Requirements]

1. This Recovery software package is limited in customer service center to use only;

2. Only provide for users who want to update their OPPO F3 system to Android7.1;

3. SC is allowed to neither inform user that system can be updated on F3, nor upgrade the system for user initiatively;

4. Any problems occurs need feedback to factory timely after update the Android system for users.

2. [Notice Before Update]

1. Before you update the Android system version, ensure the software version have updated to CPH1609EX_11_A.19_171220 or later version. If the software version is not the latest, must check and update it firstly:

Go to [settings]à[Software Updates]àupdate the software version until it shows ”It is already the latest version”.

1. Please update all the Apps to the latest version to avoid the incompatible phenomenon occurs after updating the F3 system to Android 7.1 version;

2. The app WPS Email will be canceled after update, please backup the data of your E-mail. And we can advise clients use Google Gmail or download WPS Email in App Store.

6. [Instructions about degrade]

1. If users want degrade the system to official version, please tell that this operation need to be done in service center;

2. All the users’ data will be lost in this operation, tell the users backup the data.
