What is Smart Always-On Display
Want to control your music or to know the status of your food delivery without unlocking your device? ColorOS 13 introduced the feature of Smart Always-On display which allows us to use music playback controls and check the food delivery status on the Always-On display. You can Play/Pause or change music shuffle the songs, and select playlists. You can check the Food delivery status like "Order accepted", "Meal picked up", "Distance to destination", "Delivered" and other information. Follow this article to learn more about Smart Always-On display.
Applicable to: ColorOS 13, check the ColorOS version of your device from [Settings] > [About Phone/ About Device].
What is the Smart Always-On display in ColorOS 13
Smart Always-ON display provides interactive and more detailed information on the lock screen of the device. It supports showcasing an instant music control panel & food delivery information
Music control: Support Spotify and provide a control panel with controls for pausing the playback, shuffling the songs, and selecting playlists (and displaying recommended playlists provided by Spotify).
Food delivery: Support for Zomato (India), and Swiggy(India) to show "Order accepted", "Meal picked up", "Distance to destination", "Delivered" and other information.
Note: Always-On Display only supports certain models due to hardware limitations. The display supports Spotify controls and food delivery information from Zomato and Swiggy and more to be released once they're available.
How to Enable Smart Always-ON Display
Go to [Settings] > Tap on [Wallpaper & style].
Tap on [Always-On Display] > select [Contextual info]
Enable [Music Playback] and [Trip and Food Deliveries]
