What is Shelf in ColorOS
Do you want to access all the widgets in one place on your device? ColorOS 13 comes with Shelf features that allow you to quickly scroll down so you can access widgets and the search bar. It is a customization space for easy access you can access information and applications such as Weather, Step Tracker, Phone Manager, Clock, Notes, My Files, Spotify, and many more. We can also access Global Search from Shelf which allows you to search from all the local data like contacts, files, Settings, local files, etc., and also shows the suggestions online related to the search. Applicable to: ColorOS 13 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Device].
How to Enable Shelf
Go to [Settings] > [Home Screen & Lock Screen]
Tap on [Swipe Down on Home screen] > Select [Shelf]
How to Add Widgets to The Shelf
Swipe down on the Home screen to access Shelf.
Tap on [+] in the top left corner.
Tap on the Wiget you wish to add > Swipe to choose the size of the Widget.
Tap on [Add] and your widget will be added.
How to Remove Widgets From The Shelf
Tap and Hold on to the widget that you want to remove and tap on [Remove].
How to Move Widgets on The Shelf
Tap on Hold on the widget that you want to move. Once the remove icon appears drag and drop on the place where you want to keep the widget.
