What Is Screencast & How To Use It
Screencasting lets you cast the content on your phone to a larger display such as your Smart TV with built-in screencast support. You can use it to watch movies, look at photos, listen to music stored on your phone or through online apps such as YouTube, Netflix, etc. Follow this article to learn more about the screen mirroring in OPPO.
Applicable to: ColorOS 5.2 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].
Screen Mirroring in OPPO Devices
Make sure that the wireless display feature is enabled on the display device. This feature is also known as screen mirroring, multi-screen interaction, Wi-Fi Display, screencasting, Please refer to the product manual of the display device.
You can enable Screencast on your phone by following two methods:
Make sure the Wi-Fi is enabled, then open [Control Center] by sliding down the notification drawer, then choose [Screencast]. If you are unable to get the screencast icon in the control panel, tap the
icon and drag the [Screencast] Icon in the control panel to use it.
Open [Settings] > [Other Wireless Connections/ Connection & Sharing] > [Screencast/ Multi-screen interaction] > Find the display from the list and connect your phone to it to start casting.
Note: If your device supports Google Chromecast, you can follow the above Settings.
