What is OPPO's Floating Window Feature
A floating window is a useful feature that enables certain apps to appear anywhere on your phone's home screen. This allows you to easily check for updates and messages, and even reply to messages while you're engaged in another task on your phone. The floating window is designed to appear above other apps running on your phone and can be moved to any position on the screen. However, before you can use these apps, they require permission. Follow these simple steps to enable the floating window on your phone.
Enable Floating Windows
There are two ways you can manage floating window apps:
Privacy
For ColorOS 7: Go to [Settings] > [Privacy] > [Display over other apps].
For ColorOS 6.0 and below: Go to [Settings] > [Privacy/Security] > [Floating Windows] > then manage the apps you want to be floating.
Note: The Security/ Privacy setting is the only way to enable the Floating Window feature on OPPO phones that run on ColorOS 5.2 to 6.0.
App Management
For ColorOS 13 and above: [Settings] > [Apps] > [Special app access] > [Display over other apps] > select an application > enable the [Display over other apps] feature
For ColorOS 12: [Settings] > [Apps] > [Display over other apps] > select an application > [Always].
For ColorOS 11 to 11.3: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > [Display over other apps].
For ColorOS 7: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > Tap on [Display over other apps] > Then manage the apps you want to be floating.
Note: The App Management setting is the only way to enable the Display Over other apps feature on OPPO phones that run on ColorOS 11 and above.

Note: Enabling a floating window for certain apps may generate pop-up ads, and not all apps have the floating window feature
