The Introduction Of VOOC & SuperVOOC
1. Development History of VOOC：
VOOC 1.0: In March 2014,OPPO released an independently developed "VOOC" flash charging technology to make charging faster and safer.
VOOC 2.0: In October 2014,VOOC mini was born,reducing the size of the charger.
VOOC 3.0: The VFC fast charging algorithm is used to improve the constant voltage charging efficiency,and the overall charging time is shortened compared to the previous generation.(Note:Due to the difference in battery capacity,there is a slight difference in the shortening ratio of charging time for different models.).
VOOC 4.0: Using a new generation of 3C batteries and a 30W high-power version of the adapter, the internal resistance of the entire charging system is reduced while the power component inside the adapter is upgraded.A 4000 mAh battery can be charged to 67% in 30 minutes and 73 minutes t0 100%.VOOC 4.0 will be launched with OPPO K5 as the first model.
2. Development History of SuperVOOC：
SuperVOOC 1.0: In 2016, OPPO first proposed the "SuperVOOC" super flash charging technology; with a dual-cell series design,the power can be doubled with the same current conditions.A 2500mAh battery can be fully charged in 15 minutes.In 2018,OPPO Find X SuperVOOC version and OPPO Find X Lamborghini version are the pilot models equipped with SuperVOOC.
SuperVOOC 2.0: The charging power is increased to 65W under the condition as a 25-degree Celsius room temperature.The concept as to "fully charge a 4000mAh battery in 30 minutes" is practiced successfully on a commercial model for the first time.It was launched with OPPO Reno Ace in October 2019.
