Show Lockscreen Notification on your OPPO Phone
Missing any important notifications is not good because this may lead to missed opportunities. So, never miss any notifications again by having them on your lock screen. This means that every time you will receive a notification including incoming calls, app notifications, and SMS, your screen will turn on or light up. You can also manage the notification that will show on your lock screen. Follow this article to know how to get notifications on the lock screen of your OPPO phone.

Turn on the screen for incoming notifications
For ColorOS 7.0 and above
Go to [Settings] > [Notifications & status bar] > [Manage notifications] > [More] and toggle on [Wake screen when a notification is received] to turn on the screen every time you get a message notification. When this feature is disabled, the screen will not turn on except for incoming calls, SMS messages, and other lock screen notifications.
For ColorOS 6.1 to ColorOS 7.1
Go to [Settings] > [Notifications & Status Bar] and tap on [Wake screen when a notification is received] / [Wake Screen When Notification Received on Lock Screen], then the screen will turn on every time you get a message notification. When this feature is disabled, the screen will not turn on except for incoming calls, SMS messages, and other lock screen notifications.
For ColorOS 6.0 and below
Go to [Settings] > [Notifications & Status Bar] and tap on [Turn on Screen for Notifications], then the screen will turn on every time you get a message notification. When this feature is disabled, the screen will not turn on except for incoming calls and SMS messages.
Show notifications on the lock screen
For ColorOS 7.0 and above
Go to [Settings] > [Notifications & Status Bar] > [Manage Notifications], select an app and toggle on [Allow notifications]. Tap each of the notification types such as [Message Notifications] and toggle on [Allow notifications] to enable your apps to display notifications on the lock screen.
Note: Not all apps will support showing notifications on the Lock Screen. If you tapped an app and no option to show notification on the lock screen, then it means it is not supported.
For ColorOS 6.0 to 6.1
To enable your apps to show notifications on the Lock Screen, go to [Settings] > [Notification & Status Bar] > [Manage Notifications], select an App and toggle on [Allow Notifications]. Tap each of the notification types such as [Message Notification] and allow [Display on Lockscreen].
For ColorOS 5.2 and below
To enable your apps to show notifications on the Lock Screen, go to [Settings] > [Notification & Status Bar] > [Manage Notifications], select an App and toggle on [Allow Notifications]. Then, toggle on [Display on Lockscreen] to enable.
