Background

We have received feedback from customer that Line app fails to take photos and make video call after connecting to Wi-Fi.

Solution

Wi-Fi abnormal DNS check, Line parses exception error.
Temporary solution: Update the Line app to the latest version, when making video call, switch the Wi-Fi network to data network---when the call is connected, switch back to Wi-Fi and then it works fine on video call or photos shooting.
Already forwarded the issue to Line urgently.

Q1: Why can't I use Line to make video call or take photos?
A1: Hi, because when Line use Wi-Fi to make video call or take picture it’s routing protocol do not match the current commonly used router protocol, resulting in networking failure caused an exception, all brands of machines have this problem. This issue also exists in other brands; we already forward it to third-party Line urgently.
