ColorOS 14 introduces the Go Green Always-On Display to raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection. The Go Green AOD includes three sets of Environment Vision pages, where each set includes five environment-related animations that can change based on the user's daily step count, showing the reduced carbon dioxide emissions from walking instead of taking other forms of transport. In this article, we will learn how the Carbon footprint option works in the Always on Display feature.

Applicable to: Devices with ColorOS 14. Check your ColorOS in [Settings] > [About Device].

How to Turn On Go Green AOD and Carbon Footprint

  1. Go to [Settings] > Select [Wallpaper and style].

  2. Tap on [Always-On Display] > Choose [Carbon footprint] > Tap on [Apply]

Note: This feature is provided according to hardware compatibility.

The Go Green AOD feature consists of three themes - "Earth from space", "natural landscape" or the "beauty of the ocean". With these three new themes, the more you move, the more the ratio of CO2 percentage is reduced in the AOD theme.

What is the Maximum Step Count In the Carbon Footprint

The maximum step count considered for AOD is 10000 steps. If the user has covered the 10000 steps, it will show the CO2 emission target reduced by 100% for that specific day. You will also receive a prompt of the daily target achieved of 10000 steps.
