Manage Alarm Notifications: A Guide for ColorOS Devices

Once you set up an alarm, a notification will appear in the status bar 15 minutes before the scheduled alarm time. You can dismiss this notification by swiping it away. If you have set up a recurring alarm, you will receive this notification daily, 15 minutes before the scheduled alarm time. Currently, there is no direct way to disable these upcoming notifications. However, you can stop receiving these notifications by disabling the alarm itself. Read the article below for instructions on how to disable this notification.


Applicable to: ColorOS 7 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone/About Device].


How to Disable Upcoming Alarm Notification

For ColorOS 12 and above:

  • Go to [Settings] and tap [Notification & Status Bar].

  • Tap [Recent] and choose [All].

  • Tap on [Clock] > tap [Upcoming alarm notifications] > [Disable].


For ColorOS 7 till 11:

  • Go to [Settings] and tap [Notification & Status Bar].

  • Tap [Manage Notification] and choose [Clock].

  • Tap [Upcoming alarm notifications] > [Disable].


Note: "Upcoming alarm notifications" option appears when an alarm is set.
