How to Use the Partial Screen Recording Feature on OPPO Phone

Screen recording allows real-time capturing of your phone's screen to document essential details or information for future reference. If you only need to capture a specific area, the Partial Screen recording option lets you record just a designated section of your screen. To learn how to use this feature, keep on reading.


Note: The Partial Screen recording feature is only available on OPPO phones upgraded to ColorOS 15.0.2 and above. Please refer to the actual device or check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Device].


How to Partial Record Your Screen

  1. Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen to open Control Center / Quick Settings.

  2. Touch and hold the Screen recording icon and select [Partial Screen Recording].

  3. Once you've dragged or adjusted the recording area, tap [Start recording].

  4. During the recording, tap [Live alerts capsule] at the top of the screen to expand the screen recording floating window.

  5. The recording will be automatically saved to Photos.
