How to Use the IR Remote on OPPO Phone
Have you misplaced the remote control for your appliances, such as your TV set, air conditioner, electric fan, and more? Worry not! With the help of infrared technology and the IR Remote app, your OPPO device can function as a universal remote control for a variety of appliances you own! For more information about this, read on!
Note: This feature is only available on some models. Please refer to the actual device for its final functions and features.
Set up IR Remote
Open the [IR remote] app and tap the [three-dotted] icon > [Settings] to turn on/off [Button sound] or [Button vibration].
You may also turn on [Obtain remote control data online] for more device models.
How to add device for remote control
Open the [IR Remote] app on your phone, tap [+] in the lower-right corner, and select the type and brand of the home appliance you want to add.
For example, to pair the remote control with a TV, aim the infrared emission hole at the top of the phone directly at the TV and follow the prompts.
After successfully adding the TV, tap
to use your phone as the remote control
The list of IR Remote devices will show all added devices. Tap on a device name to control the device.
