How to Use the IR Remote Feature on Your OPPO Device

🔍 What is the IR Remote Feature?

The IR Remote allows your OPPO phone to function like a traditional remote control by emitting infrared signals. It works with most home appliances that support IR-based remote controls.

✅ Supported Devices

The IR Remote feature is available on select OPPO devices such as:

• OPPO Find series (e.g., Find N3, Find8)

• OPPO Reno series (e.g., Reno8 T, Reno10 Pro+)

🛠️ How to Use the IR Remote Feature

1. Open the IR Remote App

• On your OPPO phone, go to the Tools folder (or App Drawer)

• Tap on the “IR Remote” app (also called "Smart Remote" or “Remote Control” on some models)

2. Add a Remote

• Tap “+” or “Add Remote”

• Choose the type of appliance: TV, AC, Fan, Projector, etc.

3. Select the Brand

• Pick your appliance’s brand from the list.

4. Pair the Device

• Point your OPPO phone’s top edge (where the IR blaster is located) at the appliance.

• Tap on the buttons shown on-screen to test.

• If it works, confirm and save the remote.

5. Use It Like a Normal Remote

• Now, you can control the appliance directly from your phone.
  

• You can also customize or rename remotes for easier access.

• Make sure there’s a clear line of sight between your phone and the device.

• Keep your phone's top IR sensor clean for strong signal transmission.
