How to Turn On App Notifications on Your Reno 5G?

Situation: You want to receive app notifications on the home screen/ lock screen of your phone.

Applicable to: Reno 5G and devices running ColorOS 6.0. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Never miss a notification from your favorite application. There are 2 simple ways to allow an app notification on your phone.

1. Notification and Status Bar

Go to [Settings] > [Notification & Status Bar] > [Manage Notifications] > choose an App > toggle [Allow Notifications] to enable.

Go to [Settings] > [App Management] > choose an App > [Manage Notificaitions] > toggle [Allow Notifications] to enable.

While at the [Allow Notifications] page, tap [Device-Level Notifications].

Display on Status Bar.
Display on Lockscreen. You can choose to [Display], [Do Not Display], [Hide Content While Displaying].
Display at the Top of the Screen.
Choose a Ringtone or make it Vibrate.

Note:
Once turned off, the notification from this specific app will not be displayed on the notification bar or lock screen.
