How to Record Calls in OPPO A52
As OPPO A52 is powered by Google Communication Suite, it comes pre-installed with Google services and apps such as Google Messages as the default messaging application, Google Contacts as the default contacts application, and Google Dialer as the default dialer app. This means that you won't be able to record calls the same as other OPPO devices which use the OPPO dialer. Don't worry! OPPO A52 also allows you to record calls through the Google dialer. Follow this article if you want to learn how to record a phone call in your OPPO A52.

Note: After the call recording is enabled, a pre-recorded voice line will be played to the other person on the call to inform them that you are recording the call. Please note that the call recording announcement cannot be disabled.
How to enable call recording
On the home screen, open the [Phone] application.
Tap [
] and select [Settings].
Tap [Call recording]. Google Phone allows you to choose if you want to automatically record calls from unknown numbers or if you want to record calls from specific contacts.
To record calls from unknown numbers, enable [Numbers not in your contacts] under ALWAYS RECORD.
To record calls of selected phone numbers, tap [Selected numbers] and enable [Always record selected numbers].
What if the call recording option is unavailable
Clear the data of Google Phone by going to [Settings] > [App Management] > [App List] > [Two dots] > [Show System] > [Phone] > [Storage Usage] > [Clear data].
Uninstall the third-party dialer/ call recording app if installed.
Set the Google Phone as the default dialer app by going to [Settings] > [App Management] > [Default App] > [Phone] > Select [Phone].
Join the beta program of the Google Phone app.
How to record a phone call
On the home screen, open the [Phone] application.
Make a call to or answer an incoming call to record.
Tap [Record
] on the ongoing call screen to record the call.
To stop the recording, tap the [Stop
] button.
How to find call recording in OPPO
Your call recordings are only stored on your device. They are not backed up off-device or stored in cloud storage.
Open the [Phone] app.
Find the phone number of which the call is recorded. You can also tap [Recents] and select the recorded phone number.
for the most recent call: Tap the phone number then tap [
] to play the recording.
for previous call recordings of a phone number: Tap the phone number > tap [history], then select the recording from the list of calls and tap [Listen to recording] to play the call recording. You can also share the call recordings with other devices. Simply tap [
] and select the sharing app.
What if you are unable to record during a call
Make sure that the phone app is updated to the latest version, you can update to the latest version by clicking this link.
Update your phone to the latest version by going to [Settings] > [Software updates] > [Update] if available.
Change the Region by going to [Settings] > [Language & Region] > [India].
Uninstall any call recording or dialer application if installed. Make sure that your phone app is set as default. Go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [Default App] > [Phone] > Select system phone app.

This feature is for OPPO devices with the Google Phone app pre-installed and must have the Android 9 version and up.
