How to Record Calls in OPPO F19 Pro+
The OPPO F19 Pro+ is powered by Google Communication Suite. It comes pre-installed with Google services such as Google Contacts, Google Messages, Google Phone as default contacts, messages, and dialer applications. It means that the call recording method is different from what used to be in the ColorOS dialer. Now, a pre-recorded voice line is played to the other person on the call to inform them that you are recording the call. Follow the article below to learn how to record calls in your OPPO F19 Pro+

How to enable call recording
Open [Phone] app.
Tap [
] then [Settings].
Tap [Call recording].
Here you can choose to record the calls of those numbers which are not in your contacts list by enabling [Numbers not in your contacts] or you can manually select the phone numbers by tapping [Selected numbers] > Enable [Always record selected numbers] and tap [Choose a contact] and select the numbers.
How to record calls
After making a call to someone, tap the [Record] Icon to start recording calls. After the recording is started, a pre-recorded voice line is played to the other person on the call to inform them that you are recording the call. Specifically, the other third party will get "this call is being recorded" when the call recording is activated, and "call recording has now ended" when the recording stopped.
What if I am unable to see the record option
Make sure that the phone app is updated to the latest version, you can update to the latest version by clicking this link.
Update your phone to the latest version by going to [Settings] > [Software updates] > [Update] if available.
Change the Region by going to [Settings] > [Language & Region] > [India].
Uninstall any call recording application if installed. Make sure that your phone app is set as default. Go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [Default App] > [Phone] > Select system phone app.
Can I disable the call recording announcement?
The call recording announcement cannot be disabled. This alert is given to the other person on the call to inform them that you are recording the call. However, you can use a temporary solution to record calls without the alert. Follow the below methods to learn more.
How to record calls without the announcement
Note: This is a temporary solution and is applicable to Indian devices only. Kindly wait for the official announcement. This APK is compatible with OPPO devices with ColorOS 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, and Reno7 series. You can also find the download link below.
Make sure your phone is running the supported ColorOS version and is updated to the latest version.
Download and install the APK for your respective ColorOS version. Make sure that installation from unknown sources is turned on. Go to [Settings] > [Security] > [Installation Sources/ Unknown source installation] > Select [App] > Enable.
Set it as the default dialer by going to [Settings] > [App Management] > [Default Apps] > [Phone app] > [Contacts(with green icon)].
Once it is set as the default phone application, open the phone app(with a green icon) from the home screen or app drawer.
Tap the menu icon at the top right corner and choose [Settings] then tap [Call recording].
Select from the available options: Record specified numbers, Record unknown numbers, and record all calls.
