How to Manage Preferences in Gboard?

 

Situation: You want to set the keys, layouts and key press settings in Gboard.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

In the Preferences option, you can manage the settings for the following:

• Keys: You can set Number row, Show emoji switch key, Show language switch key, and Show emojis in symbols keyboard.

• Layout: You can set One-handed mode, Keyboard height, and Emoji browsing suggestions.

• Key press: You can set Sound on keypress, Volume on keypress, Haptic feedback on keypress, Vibration strength on keypress, Popup on keypress, Long press for symbols, and Key long press delay.

On the keyboard, tap the Settings icon > [Preferences]. Enable or set the options as preferred.

Alternatively, on the home screen, tap [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Keyboard & Input Method] > [Gboard] > [Preferences].
