How to Enroll Your Fingerprint on Your OPPO Device
Enrolling your fingerprint on your OPPO device is one of the most secure and convenient ways to protect your personal information. Note: Please note that fingerprint unlock may not be available on all OPPO smartphones. Please refer to the actual display of your device.
How to Set Up Fingerprint on Your OPPO Device
Before you add a fingerprint, you need to create a passcode for your phone first.
Go to [Settings] > [Security & Privacy] > [Device unlock] > [Face and Fingerprint Unlock] > [Fingerprint] > tap [Add a Fingerprint].
In some old version devices: Go to [Settings] > [Fingerprint, Face & Passcode] > tap [Add a Fingerprint].
Follow the on-screen instructions, placing your finger gently on the Fingerprint button until your fingerprint is recorded.
Note: You can add up to 5 fingerprints. Simply repeat steps 1 and 2 to enroll additional fingers.
How to Delete or Rename a Fingerprint
Go to [Settings] > [Security & Privacy] > [Device unlock] > [Face & Fingerprint Unlock] > [Fingerprint] > enter the lock screen password > tap the fingerprint you've added > tap the [three dots] icon, and select [Rename] or [Delete].
In some old version devices: Go to [Settings] > [Fingerprint, Face & Passcode], tap [Add a Fingerprint], and tap the fingerprint you've added. Enter a name for your fingerprint, or tap [Delete Fingerprint].
