How to Customize Controls in OPPO Earphones
OPPO offers a range of audio products, including Enco Buds, Enco X, Enco Air, and more. These true wireless earphones are designed with touch gestures that enable you to skip or change tracks, adjust the volume, activate the smart assistant, and perform various other functions. If you have an OPPO smartphone, you can customize the gesture actions for these earphones using your phone's Bluetooth settings. However, for non-OPPO phone users, HeyMelody provides a solution. HeyMelody allows you to update the firmware, personalize the touch controls, and monitor the battery status. Follow the instructions in this article to learn how to modify the gesture actions for your OPPO earphones.
Applicable to: Non-OPPO Android devices with HeyMelody installed.
How to Change The Touch Control Actions
Firstly, make sure that your device has the HeyMelody app installed and your device is successfully paired with it.
Once connected, open [HeyMelody] App. You will see an interface like the below image.
Tap [Earbud Controls].
Choose your gesture and select your preferred action.
Note: Editing touch controls are not available for some earphone models.
Edit Touch Controls in OPPO Devices
Note: The below method is applicable for OPPO devices with ColorOS 7 and above. Check your ColorOS version by going to [Settings] > [About Phone]/[About Device].
Go to [Settings] and tap [Bluetooth].
Tap the "
" icon right next to your earphones.
Tap [Headset]/[Earbud Functions] select the touch method and select the preferred action.
