How to Create a New Album on Your OPPO Phone
Creating a new album for your photos and videos is a simple way to arrange your images effectively and provide access to them with ease. Your OPPO phone provides the option to create a personalized album where you can add your media files from your favorite moments or vacation memories. This way, not only are your photos organized, but you also get to keep your memories from a clutter-free gallery.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
How to Create a New Album
Even though the same image appears in every photo within the album and the picture library, they are indeed the same image and will not consume additional storage space. Feel free to use it without concern.
For ColorOS 13.1 to ColorOS 15 and above:
Open the [Photos] app > [Albums].
Tap the [+] icon in the bottom right corner.
Select [New album], and enter the album name.
For ColorOS 11 to 13:
Open the [Photos] app＞[Albums].
Tap the [two dots] or [three dots] icon in the upper right corner.
Select [New album], then enter the album name.
After entering the name, you can select the photos or videos you want to include in the album and tap [Complete] to add them successfully.
Once the album is created, you can also add individual photos after daily captures, or you can use the batch selection method to incorporate multiple images into the album.
Note: There is no limit on the number of new image collections you can create. The content of a new image collection is moved from an existing one. Thus, if the contents of a new image collection completely include those of an old one, the previous image collection will be removed.
