Learn more about dual-frequency GPS.

Applicable to Reno 10x Zoom.

Your Reno 10x Zoom is powered by dual-frequency GPS which makes navigation more precise. It has adopted the dual-frequency GPS, L1+L5 frequencies.

What is GPS?

GPS or Global Positioning System is able to show your exact position as well as time zones anywhere in the world. Anytime and at any weather condition. Your phone will receive signals from the GPS that will tell you where you are exactly at the moment.

Whats is Dual-frequency GPS?

Combines two frequencies which give more information with fewer errors. This can get signal even when in tall or enclosed buildings.

What are the two frequencies?

  1. L1 Frequency. Oldest GPS signal and captures the signal faster.

  2. L5 Frequency. Most advanced signal as of yet and provides greater accuracy.

Two ways to turn on GPS on your device:

  1. On the Control Center. Swipe down from the very top of any screen and look for [Location], tap it then toggle the [Location Service] to blue.

  2. On the Settings. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Device & Privacy] > [Location Information] then toggle the [Location Service] to blue.
