Gboard Hacks: Advanced Tips & Tricks for Your OPPO Keyboard

Features of Gboard
Below are the features of Gboard to enjoy an effortless typing experience.
In-Built Translation
Gboard allows you to quickly translate a text which will help you while chatting with a friend or client who speaks a different language.
You can tap the [3-dot] icon (...) and tap the [Translate] icon to access this feature. Then, select the language, type in the text you want to write and the translated text will appear. It can also auto-detect the language you're typing in if you select the Detect language option.
Typing Superscript and Fractions
Superscript is the small letter or number that is set slightly above a particular letter or number. For example, in the set of numbers, 3², the number 2 above the number 3 is a superscript.
To type a superscript or fraction of a number, long-press the number in your Gboard. A pop-up menu will show you the superscript of the long-pressed number and a list of common fractions that use the long-pressed number as a numerator. For example, long-pressing the number 1 will display options like ½ and ¼.
Delete a Word with One Left Swipe
Another great convenience feature with Gboard is the ability to quickly delete a word by swiping left from the backspace button. A quick, short swipe will delete the last word you typed.
Delete Sentences with One Swipe
The swipe-to-delete feature can be used to erase more than a single word at a time. By dragging your finger a greater distance from the backspace key, you can delete entire sentences with a single swipe.
Add Word Shortcuts in Personal Dictionary
The personal dictionary is a very effective feature for typing faster.
While adding words to your personal dictionary, you can also add shortcuts for those words, and even add phrases. Then, when you're typing on the keyboard, you can type in the shortcut and you will see the word or the phrase appearing as a suggestion. Just tap it and it's typed for you. For example, we added "ColorOS 7" as a shortcut to "os7". So when we type os7, Gboard will suggest ColorOS 7.
You can add words to your personal dictionary by going to the Gboard's [Settings] icon > [Dictionary] > [Personal dictionary] > select your language and tap the [+] icon.
