Change Search Engine of OPPO Browser

Changing your search engine is a simple process that can vary slightly depending on your web browser. Generally, you can go to the browser's settings or preferences menu, look for the section related to search engine settings, and choose from the available options or add a new one. Once selected, your browser will use the chosen search engine for all your queries. Read the whole article to learn more about how to change the search engine in OPPO default browser.


Applicable to: ColorOS 5.2  and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/[About Device].


Note: In newer OPPO devices, the OPPO Browser has been renamed to "Internet" and the default search engine is Google which cannot be changed currently.


Change search engine

Devices with ColorOS 11 and above:

  • Open[Internet] > Click on [Search bar] > Click on [ Search engine] > Choose the desired search Engine(Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo).



Devices with ColorOS 5.2 to ColorOS 7:

  • Open [Browser] > [Three Lines/ window_icon] > [Settings] > [Search Engine] > Choose desired search Engine(Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo).
