Call Recording Function Unavailable After ColorOS Update
Most OPPO phones are equipped with a built-in call recording feature that lets you save important conversations or meetings for reference. However, if you've recently updated your device's software and can no longer find the call recording feature, please note that OPPO is continuously working to optimize it. Keep reading to learn why this happens and what steps you can take to access call recording on your device.
Note: The Call Recording feature may not be available in Australia and some European countries (Spain, France, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, New Zealand, and Russia).
Why is the Call Recording Function Unavailable After the ColorOS Update
In order to be more in line with the local policy and restrictions in various countries and regions, OPPO has temporarily closed this function for optimization and will continue to work with Google to complete the function optimization before resuming the function on the next software update.
Other Ways to Record Calls
As an alternative, you may use a third-party call recording application. Please note that the app downloaded is solely owned by a third party and the functions may slightly be different from OPPO's in-built call recording function.
