Backup Settings and Data to Google in OPPO Smartphones

How to Enable Backup to Google

For ColorOS 15 and above:

  • Go to [Settings] > [System & upadte] > [Back Up and Reset] > Enable [Automatic restore].


For ColorOS 12 and above:

  • Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Back Up and Reset] > Enable [Back up & migrate] > [cloud backup] > Turn On [Cloud backup].


For ColorOS 11:

  • Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Back Up and Reset] > Enable [Back Up My Data].


Note: You can also choose your backup Google Account by choosing [Back Up Account] and also add a new account.


Note: Restoring the data depends on the phone & Android version. You can't restore a backup from a higher Android version onto a phone running a lower Android version.
