Add Props for Creative Portrait Photography

Glasses with a book portrays a book lover. Someone with a guitar could be a musician. And a child smiling while holding an ice-cream shows how much she loves ice-cream.

Yes, that's what props are. Props support and enhance the main subject in a photo. What's more, they create a connection with the subject.

Here's how you can turn a simple portrait into a compelling story using a prop, a plastic bag in this example.

Before starting to shoot, find a transparent plastic bag and place it on the camera lens.

01  Turn on the camera and tap [PORTRAIT].

02  Tap the  portrait style icon and select the [03] filter.

03  Adjust the angle.

04 Tap on the photo and adjust the brightness.

05  Tap the shutter to capture.

Got them all? Now go on and try it yourself with your favorite props. And don't forget to share the photos and tag us #OPPOPortraitPhotography.

*The portrait style icon may differ or not available in some phone models but it won't affect the end result.
