Can't install or update app on Play Store on OPPO phone
Here are some of the troubleshooting steps to help you solve the issue:
Restart your phone
Press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons for at least eight seconds until you see the OPPO logo. Or press and hold the Power button and tap or slide the [Restart] button to restart your phone.
Check your Internet connection
Check your phone's Internet connectivity. Try using an internet browser to open any website and see if it loads. If it doesn't, change to another network or contact your internet provider for help.
Update Play Store
Open [Play Store] on your home screen, and at the top right, tap your [Profile] icon > [Settings] > [About] > [Play Store version]. If an update is available, Play Store will start updating automatically. If your Play Store is up to date, you will receive a pop-up saying, "Google Play Store is up to date."
Clear the Play Store’s cache
For ColorOS 12 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [App management] > [Google Play Store] > [Storage usage] > [Clear cache].
For ColorOS 11: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > [App list] > [2-dotted] icon > [Show system] > [Google Play store] > [Storage usage] > [Clear cache].
Note: Restart your phone after clearing the cache.
Uninstall unused apps
Go to [Play Store] on your home screen, then tap your [Profile] icon at the top right and tap [Manage apps & device], then tap [Manage] and tap the app you want to uninstall and tap [Uninstall] or tap the square box next to the app you wish to delete and tap the [Trash bin] icon at the upper-right corner and tap [Uninstall] again.
Alternatively, on your home screen, look for the application you want to uninstall, hold the app, and tap [Uninstall].
In some OPPO phones, tap and hold the application you wish to uninstall and tap [App info] > [Uninstall].
Check app download preference
Open the [Play Store] on your home screen and tap your [Profile] icon at the top right > [Settings] > [Network preferences] > [App download preference] > [Over any network].
Change Play Store's network permission settings
Change network permission settings for Google Play services, Google Play Store, and Google Services Framework.
For ColorOS 7 and above: Go to [Settings] > [SIM card & mobile data] / [Mobile network] > [Data usage] > [Network permissions] / [Network access] > [Google Play Store] > select [Wi-Fi & mobile data]. Repeat for Google Services Framework.
Check your internal storage
If your device runs out of space, it can stop apps from downloading & installing. So, freeing at least 1 GB of space in your device is recommended. You can get it by cleaning junk files and deleting unnecessary photos, videos, etc.
Reset the phone's system settings
This option will reset all system settings without deleting data or media files. (This option is available with devices running ColorOS 3.2 and above.) Learn how to reset your phone at this link.
