What is the OSIE Vision Effect in ColorOS 7

OSIE, or Object and Semantic Images Eye-Tracking, is a visual effect feature available on OPPO phones that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the viewing experience. With the help of AI, OSIE can precisely track a user's eye movements, improving the experience of watching videos and playing games. OPPO's OSIE Vision Effect explained

OSIE (Object and Semantic Image Eye-Tracking) is a visual enhancement feature found on specific OPPO smartphone models, which utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve users' viewing experience. OSIE can precisely track eye movements through its advanced AI technology, allowing for an immersive and highly responsive experience when watching videos or playing games on the device. 

However, it's worth noting that while OSIE is an impressive feature that can enhance the user's viewing experience, it may only be available on some OPPO smartphone models. Additionally, the specific performance of OSIE can vary depending on the device's hardware specifications and software optimization. We recommend checking the user manual.


How to enable OSIE Vision Effect

There are two methods on how you can enable ColorOS 7's OSIE Vision Effect:

  • Control Center: Swipe down from the top of any screen and look for the [OSIE Vision Effect] icon > tap on it to enable it.

  • Settings

    • For ColorOS 13: Go to [Settings] > [Display & Brightness] > [Video color enhancer] > enable [Video color enhancer].

    • For ColorOS 7 to ColorOS 12: Go to [Settings] > [Display & Brightness] > toggle [OSIE Vision Effect] to enable. 


Note:

  • Not all application in the Play Store and OPPO App Market supports OPPO's OSIE visual effect feature; you can check this link to know if an app supports this feature.

  • OPPO's OSIE visual effect feature is not turned on by default; you would have to perform the abovementioned steps to turn it on.

  • This feature may consume your OPPO phone's battery, so turn it off when not in use.
