What is the Google Play Protect Feature by Google on OPPO Phone?

 

Situation: You want to know about Google Play Protect in Google.

Applicable to: ColorOS 3.0 and above devices. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Google Play Protect scans all apps for malware before and after you install them to ensure the safety of your device, data and apps. It is automatically enabled on your device.

However, if you have disabled it recently, there are 2 ways to enable Google Play Protect on your device:

• Open the device's [Settings] app > [Google] > [Security] > [Google Play Protect] and tap [Turn on]  to allow Play Protect scan your apps.

• Open your device’s [Google Play Store] app and tap the Menu icon  in the top left corner >  [Play Protect] > Tap [Turn on].
