No 2/3/4/5G Network Icon Displaying; Irregular 2/3/4/5G Network Icon Displaying
Troubleshooting Method
Suggest the customer re-close the Airplane Mode;
Suggest the customer restart the phone;
Suggest the customer use the Network under other circumstances;
Confirm whether the phone supports 2/3/4/5G; If the phone cannot support 2/3/4/5G, the corresponding icon will not show up;
Confirm whether the phone is a contract phone with a certain Operator; Because some Operator’s contract phones can only be used when SIM card belong to the Operator;
Suggest the customer contact the Operator to confirm the 2/3/4/5G availability;
Suggest the customer install SIM card of other Operator; If the problem can be solved, please suggest the customer contact the Operator to get further suggestions; If the problem cannot be solved with SIM card of other Operator, please proceed to the Step 9
Install the “faulty” SIM on another sound phone; If the problem doesn’t reoccur, please proceed to the Step 9; If the problem reoccurs, the SIM card is defective;
If it cannot be solved, please suggest the customer backup all the data in the phone and reset the phone;
If the problem cannot be solved, suggest the customer bring the Purchase Invoice, Warranty Card and the phone to the nearest OPPO customer service center for further detection and repair;
After receiving the faulty phone, the service center firstly handles the fault according to the above steps; if the fault still recurs, flash the phone for the customer;
If the fault still recurs, cross-validate SIM card, mainboard, antenna board, battery cover, RF cable, SIM card holder FPC.
