The Art of Long Exposure Photography and Light Painting
Long exposure shots are truly work of art, ready to unfold an incredible glimpse of life in the fast lane. And OPPO will make sure you don't miss any more of that glimpse.
What is long exposure photography?
Long exposure or slow shutter photography allows you to capture the trace of light using slow shutter speed (time duration when the camera shutter allows light to pass through it) that can go up to 32 seconds of delay.
Slow shutter captures every elements moving from frame during the capture time. You can capture amazing light trails, star lights, moving vehicles, light painting and more using slow shutter speed. Long exposure photography only works at night-time or dark indoor.
What will we need?
Before the shoot, get yourself a smartphone tripod, a smartphone with Expert mode or Pro mode and another phone with flash or any other light source (if you're shooting light painting).
How to take long exposure shots?
Fix your phone onto a tripod mount. Find a good frame and set the tripod. Now, open your Camera app, go to EXPERT mode, set ISO to minimum (100 is the lowest), focus to infinite and set shutter speed as per your requirement. It's best to keep the shutter speed more than 2 seconds for good result.
TIPS: Avoid long exposure shot in harsh lighting, as light will enter the camera sensor as long as it is open, resulting in overexposed photo.
