Start a Chat Using Google Messages on OPPO Phone
Keeping in touch nowadays might seem different, starting from work meetings, class lessons, or friends' hangouts. Catching up with your friends through video calls and messages is much easier and hassle-free. Plan out your future parties through Messages by Google and stay connected with them whenever and wherever you are.

Chat in Google Messages
If your chat feature is enabled in the settings, you can start a conversation over Wi-Fi. However, please note that everyone in your conversation must turn on their chat features to enjoy the discussion.
Enable Chat feature
Go to [Messages] > [3-dotted] icon > [Settings] > [Chat features] and toggle [Enable Chat features] to enable.
Check the chat feature status.
Go to [Messages] > [3-dotted] icon > [Settings] > [Chat features] > [Status].
Start sending messages
If the contact you want to send a message to is already on your phone, you may start having a conversation with them, or if not, you may enter the contact manually or have their contacts saved on your phone.
Open the [Messages] app on your OPPO phone.
Tap the [Start chat] icon at the lower right and choose from your contact list.
Enter your text message, then tap the
icon to send.
