Applicable to: ColorOS 5.0 device and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Enable Personal Information Protection.
Go to [Settings] > [Security] / [Privacy]> [Personal Information Protection] > toggle [Smart Protection Turn-on] / [Smart Protection] to enable.
*Some setting path may show either of the two.
Note: When it is enabled, the system will automatically determine whether or not to protect an app thus causing some apps to not work properly.
These are the data that are protected:
-
Protect Call History. The system will provide an empty call history instead of real call history when enabled.
-
Protect Contacts. The system will provide empty contacts instead of real contacts when enabled.
-

-
Protect Events. The system will provide empty events instead of real events enabled.
