OPPO Phone: Google Communication Suite With Call Recording 

 

You can now have the call recording feature even if your OPPO phone is powered by Google Communication Suite.

Situation: You want to have a call recording feature on your phone that is powered by Google Communication Suite.

Applicable to: OPPO Reno4 , OPPO Reno4 Pro, OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G, OPPO A93, OPPO F17 Pro / OPPO A73, OPPO A92 / OPPO A72 / OPPO A52 

Here are ways you can have the Call Recording feature:

1. (Over-The-Air) OTA update

If you own a Google Communication Suite OPPO device but realized call recording feature is not available, here's good news, there was an (Over-The-Air) OTA update that added the call recording feature. You should have this feature after the (Over-The-Air) OTA update. 

2. Manually update the Call App

Just in case it is still not available or not working, kindly manually update. But first, check if your Call app is already the latest version. The quick way to check if it's the latest one, on your home screen long-press the [Call App] > [App Info], and the version should be the latest one, which is 55.1.335513515, so the call recording feature will be available.

If not updated yet, here's how how to update to the latest version:

On your home screen, go to [Play Store] > [Phone by Google-Caller ID & Spam Protection]  > [Update].
