How to Update OPPO Enco Free Earphones
OPPO Enco Free earphones are equipped with AI uplink noise cancellation, better touch controls, cutting edge-audio, and many more. You can also update the software version of your earphones through OTA updates. Updating the earphones can fix bugs, improve performance and battery consumption. You can update the firmware of your OPPO Enco Free from OPPO phones and Android phones. Currently, OPPO Enco Free is not supported in the HeyMelody app for iOS. Follow the article below to update the firmware for your Enco Free.

How to update Enco Free software
For OPPO devices with ColorOS 7.0 and above
Step 1: Make sure that your OPPO Enco Free earphones are connected to your phone. Click here to learn how to connect.
Step 2: After connecting the Enco Free to your phone, go to the [Settings] and tap [Bluetooth].
Step 3: Tap the "" icon right next to your earphones i.e. OPPO Enco Free.
Step 4: Tap [Headset Functions] > Tap [Firmware Version Number] to check if there is any update available. You can also enable [Auto Firmware Update] to automatically update to the latest version whenever available.
For non-OPPO phones and OPPO Phones with ColorOS 5.2 - ColorOS 6.2
Step 1: Install the HeyMelody app from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Open the HeyMelody app and allow the permissions if asked.
Step 3: Turn on the Bluetooth of your phone.
Step 4: Open the charging case and place the earphones inside. Make sure that the earbuds are placed within 15cm of your phone.
Step 5: On your phone, tap the [Scan] button to scan the devices nearby.
Step 6: After the scanning is complete, it will show you your "OPPO Enco Free". If you are unable to find your OPPO Enco Free in the list, then place both the earbuds inside the case and press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds to enter the pairing mode.
Step 7: Tap [OPPO Enco Free].
Step 8: After the successful connection, you can see the interface like the screenshot below.
Step 9: Tap [Firmware update] to check for any available updates.
