How to Set Up Date and Time on OPPO Phone
Have you accidentally set up the wrong date and time on your OPPO phone, or have you moved to a new place with a different time zone? You can change the date and time of your OPPO phone through a few easy steps! Read below on how to adjust the date and time on your OPPO phone!

Change the date and time of your OPPO phone
Set up your OPPO smartphone's time to automatic or 24-hour format by following the paths presented below:
24-hour format
When the 24-hour format is on, time displays in 24-hour format or the military time; when turned off, time displays in 12-hour format.
For ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Date & Time] > [Time format] > and choose the [24-hour] format.
For ColorOS 12: Go to [Settings] > [System settings] > [Date & time] > toggle [24-hour format] to enable/ disable.
For ColorOS 11 and below: Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Date & Time], and toggle [24-hour format] to enable/ disable.
Automatically set date and time
When this is turned on, the date and time will be auto-adapted to the time zone of your location. After turning off this feature, you can still adjust the time zone, date, and time manually according to your location or need.
For ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Date & Time] > toggle [Set time automatically] to enable/ disable.
For ColorOS 12 and above: Go to [Settings] > [System settings] > [Date & time] > toggle [Set automatically] to enable/ disable.
For ColorOS 11 and below: Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Date & Time] > and enable [Set automatically] / [Automatically set Date & Time] / [Network-provided time].
If your OPPO phone displays an incorrect date or time after connecting to computer
Check if your computer's time is wrong.
Adjust your computer's date and time first. Make sure "Automatically set Date and time" is on, then reconnect the OPPO smartphone to the computer.
If needed, restart your OPPO smartphone and try again, or contact the OPPO service center for professional assistance.
"Automatically set Date" and Time shows incorrect dates and times
If your phone displays an incorrect date and time (time zone) when "Automatically set Date and time" is on, or your country or region changes the time zones/DST rule, you cannot set the date and time. Follow these troubleshooting steps:
Update the system of your smartphone and check if the problem persists. Go to [Settings] > [System update] / [Software update] / [About device].
Turn off "Automatically set date and time" and change the time zone, date, and time manual.
Restart your OPPO smartphone and try again. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up button for at least 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.
Contact the OPPO service center for more professional assistance if needed.
Note:
It is not recommended to turn off the "Automatically set Date and time" feature to facilitate daily use.
It is not recommended to change time settings manually, changing the related functions of APPs (such as the timing function in games).
