How to Send a Group Message on Your OPPO Smartphone?

You have an announcement, a quote, or some messages you want to send to a group of people. Rather than individually sending an SMS, your OPPO phone will let you send messages to multiple recipients. Check the easy steps here!

Send a group message

Tap [Messages] on the Home screen, create a new message, and choose the recipients from one of the following lists:

• From Contacts: tick the contacts you wish to include in the group message, then tap [Add].

• From Groups: tick the groups you wish to include in the group message, then tap [Add].

• From Call Log: tick the ones you've recently called or who has recently called you, then tap [Add].

  
  

If you want to send the message to recipients who are not in your contacts list, tap [Message] on the Home screen, create a new message, enter a phone number, and tap [Done]. Repeat the above steps to add multiple recipients.

 

After selecting the recipients, type a message, and tap [Send]. To view the recipients, tap the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. 

If you can send messages but have issues with a group message

• For models of ColorOS 3.2 and below, go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [All] and find Messages. Tap Messages, then clear its data and cache. For models of ColorOS 5.0 and above, long-press the icon of [Messages] > [App Info] > [Storage Usage], then clear its data and cache.

• Restart the phone, and update it to the latest software version.

• Take out the SIM card and put it back in, and see if you fixed the issue.
