VoWi-Fi, also known as Wi-Fi Calling is a new calling service that lets you make and receive calls through an active Wi-Fi connection. This is useful when your network strength is weak. How to Enable Wi-Fi Calling?
Go to [Settings] > [SIM Card & mobile data] or [Mobile network] > [Select SIM] > [Wi-Fi Calling] > Enable [Wi-Fi Calling]. After enabling Wi-Fi calling, you will see a [] icon in the status bar.
How to Make VoWi-Fi Calls?
After Wi-Fi calling is enabled, make a call to anyone and check if you are able to see the [] icon in the calling interface.
I'm unable to Make Wi-Fi Calls
Make sure that your carrier support Wi-Fi Calling and it is supported in your area. Contact your carrier operator.
You must have an active Wi-Fi connection and an active carrier plan.
Turn on the Airplane mode and disable it after 10 seconds.
Change the calling preference by going to [Settings] > [SIM Card & mobile data] > [Select SIM] > [Wi-Fi Calling] > [Wi-Fi calling preference] > Select [Wi-Fi calling].
Restart your phone.
Make sure your device is updated to the latest version. Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates].
Perform a backup and reset your device to factory settings
Visit your nearest service center, if the problem still persists.
