How to Enable Low Battery Message on OPPO Phone

When you're on a trip, and your OPPO phone is low on battery, it's crucial to inform someone if they become concerned or are unable to reach you. This functionality is accessible on select OPPO devices, and activating it is easy. Learn how to enable this feature below.


Note: Available for ColorOS 11. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

 

Turn on the Low Battery Message

Go to [Settings] > [Security] > [Emergency SOS]  > [Low battery message] > toggle [Low battery message] to enable.


How to write a personalized message 

Under MESSAGE, tap [] and type in your personalized message. Then, tap [✔] when done.


How to include my location in the message

Just toggle [Include location] to enable, so your current location will be included in the message.


How to Add Contacts

Tap [Add Contacts], then choose from your contact list. You can choose a maximum of 5 contacts. To delete the contact or change to another one, tap on [X].

  • Toggle [Do not remind me during set time] if you don't want to receive a prompt even when your battery is below 15%. You may set the time accordingly, just tap on the time. 


How to send the message

Just scroll down at the very bottom part of the low battery page and then tap [Send now]. Then, the other person will receive your message.
