How to Enable Developer Options
Developer Options on OPPO phones provide access to advanced system settings that are typically used for testing, debugging, or performance monitoring. This feature is useful for developers, but it can also assist general users with tasks like enabling USB debugging, adjusting animation speeds, or configuring charging behavior. This guide explains how to enable Developer Mode on your OPPO device and outlines key features available through the Developer Options menu.
What are Developer Options
Developer Options are hidden settings on Android phones that give access to advanced tools. They are mainly used by app developers or experienced users to test and fine-tune how the phone works. Select mock location app: If you want to download an application unavailable in your country, you can use the mock location app. What it does is you can set a random GPS location for your OPPO phone besides your location.
Desktop backup password: There are different ways to back up your OPPO device, and one is to back it up using your computer. If you choose to back up your files through your computer, you can set up a password to protect the data you will back up.
Keep the screen on while charging: Through this option in the Developer Option; you can use your OPPO phone's application even while charging. It keeps the screen on and does not turn off while charging.
The Developer Option Turns Off Automatically
OPPO's Developer Option will automatically turn off if you run the Phone Manager application to optimize your device. Your phone considers an enabled Developer Option to be a risk to your device. You can check whether the self-check-in of the Phone Manager is enabled.
