How to Add Additional Email Accounts on the Phone
Adding multiple email accounts to your OPPO phone allows you to manage personal, work, and school emails in one place. OPPO phones support adding email accounts through both system settings and email apps, depending on the account type and your ColorOS version. This guide explains the updated methods and common variations you may see across devices.
Method 1: Add an Email Account via System Settings (Recommended)
This method integrates the email account with system sync features such as contacts and calendar.
1. Open [Settings]
2. Tap [Accounts & sync] (or Users & accounts on some models)
3. Tap [Add account]
4. Select the account type:
Google (for Gmail)
Outlook / Exchange
Other email (for Yahoo, custom domains, or ISP email)
5. Enter your email address and tap [Next]
6. Enter your password or complete the provider’s sign-in process
7. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish setup
Once added, the account will sync automatically based on your preferences.
Method 2: Add an Email Account via the Email App
If you prefer to manage emails only inside an email app, you can add accounts directly there.
Open the [Email] app (or Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
Tap the [Menu] or [Profile] icon
Select [Add another account]
Choose the email provider
Sign in using your email address and password
Complete any verification steps
This method is useful if system-level account sync is not required.
