Enable Quick Launch Gestures in Camera App
The camera Quick Launch Gesture is a handy feature that allows you to quickly activate the camera and capture photos by using the volume buttons while the screen is off. This feature is available on ColorOS 7.2 and above devices and can be easily enabled or disabled through the camera's settings. Follow the article below to learn more about quick launch gesture.
Applicable to: ColorOS 7.2 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/[About Device].
Enable/ Disable Quick Launch Gesture
For ColorOS 12 and above:
Open [Camera] > Tap on [] > Select [Settings] > Enable [Quick Launch]
For ColorOS 7 to ColorOS 11:
Open [Camera] > [] > [Settings] > [Advanced Settings] > Enable [Quick Launch Gestures].
Note: This feature doesn't work while audio is being played.
