Disable Download of MMS in Google Messages App when Abroad
There are times when the default setting on your phone does everything for you, like downloading the photos on your messages application, access everything that you didn't know, and your carrier charges you for doing so. If you don't want this to happen while you're out of country, you have the option to turn this off while you're away. To learn how you can do this in your Google Messages application, read below!

Turn off MMS download when abroad or roaming
1. On your phone, open the [Messages] application.
2. At the top right, tap [More], then [Settings].
3. Tap [Advanced].
4. Under this, tap to turn on/off the [Auto-download MMS when roaming].
