How to change the default keyboard
For OPPO devices operating on ColorOS 3.2 and below, the uninstallation of TouchPal poses a challenge, as it's not a straightforward option. However, for those with ColorOS 5.2 and ColorOS 6, there's a solution to transition away from TouchPal. An effective method involves updating your device to the latest operating system version, which automatically replaces TouchPal with Gboard, Google's versatile keyboard. If your phone still lingers on an earlier ColorOS version and TouchPal is firmly in place, Follow the below method if your phone still has TouchPal Keyboard installed.
Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings].
Tap [Keyboard & Input Method/ Language & Input].
Tap [Default] and select your keyboard.
