Block Calls And Notifications While Playing Games in OPPO

Applicable to: ColorOS 5.2 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Block calls and notifications in Game Space

For ColorOS 5.2

1. Open [Game Space ] from the home screen.

2. Tap [Show calls and Banners ] and select your desired action. 

1. Ignore Calls . All calls will be blocked while playing games. But, It won't block the notifications.

2. Block Banners . Block all notifications while playing games. You'll still be able to receive calls.

3. Block Calls and Banners . Block all notifications while playing games. You'll still be able to receive calls.

4. Show Calls and Banners . Allows the call and notification to be received while playing games.

For ColorOS 6, 6.1 & 6.2

1. Open [Game Space ] from the home screen.

2. Tap [Show calls and Banners ] and select your desired action. 

1. Ignore Calls . All calls will be blocked while playing games. But, It won't block the notifications.
   

2. Block Banners . Block all notifications while playing games. You'll still be able to receive calls.
   

3. Block Calls and Banners . Calls and notifications both will be suppressed.

4. Show Calls and Banners . Allows the call and notification to be received while playing games.

For ColorOS 7.0 to ColorOS 7.2

1. Open [Game Space ] from the home screen.

2. Tap [Show calls and Banners ] and select your desired action. 

1. Ignore Calls . All calls will be blocked while playing games. It won't block the notifications.
   

2. Block Banners . Block all notifications while playing games. You'll still be able to receive calls.
   

3. Block Calls and Banners . Calls and notifications both will be suppressed.

4. Show Calls and Banners . Allows the call and notification to be received while playing games.

For ColorOS 11 - 11.2

1. Open [Game Space ] from the home screen.

2. Tap [Pro Gamer Mode ] and scroll to the bottom.

3. Enable [Block notifications/ Reject calls].

For ColorOS 11.3

Game Space has been changed to Games in ColorOS 11.3 with Game Focus Mode to avoid distraction i.e. calls, app & alarm notifications. This feature is especially for heavy gamers designed by Esports experts. Game Focus Mode completely suppresses any kind of interruptions while playing games. Below features are disabled when Game Focus Mode is activated:

• Alarms

• Game Assistant

• Block Incoming Calls

• Navigation Gestures
  

• App Notifications such as WhatsApp, app alerts, etc.

• Control Center (Status bar/ Notification center)

How to use Game Focus Mode

You can enable Game Focus Mode to be automatically activated when starting a game or you can manually enable or disable it while playing a game. 

Automatic Mode: Open [Games] from the home screen > Tap [] on any game > Tap [Enter Game Space mode by default]. 

Manual Mode: Open [Games] > Tap [Start] on any game > Open the Game assistant by swiping the game bar from the edge of the screen. By default, it is in the upper left area of the screen > Tap [Game Focus Mode].

You can also use bullet notifications while playing the game. Bullet notification is the solution to keep distractions at a minimum. Whenever a notification is received, it will show up at the top of the screen and will disappear by sliding right to left just like a bullet. To use bullet notifications, open Game Assistant and tap [Notifications] > then select [Bullet notifications].

For ColorOS 12 and above

Game Space application has been updated to Games, which has lots of exciting features, such as Championship mode, Pro gamer mode, balanced mode, Call blocker, touch optimization, and much more.

• Championship mode- This feature allows you to block all notifications and calls, even small app alerts, so that you will be able to play games without any interruptions.

Note: You can use championship mode or simply you can also have the option to silence calls or notifications according to your preference.
