Add a bank account in Finshell Pay

2. Conditions or notice:

When you first set up FinShell Pay, you’ll be asked to add an Indian bank account so that you can send and receive money.

Important: To prevent errors, do not leave the FinShell Pay app during bank registration.


1. Search for the name of your bank in the list. If it is not present there, Check with your bank to make sure that your bank works with UPI. If it doesn’t, your bank account won’t work with FinShell Pay.

2. Open FinShell Pay. Make sure that you're using the latest version of the app.

3. Tap on Me icon > UPI Setting > UPI Linked Bank Accounts >add bank account icon.

4. Choose your bank from the list. If you don’t see your bank, it doesn’t work with FinShell Pay yet.

5. If you have an existing UPI PIN, you'll be asked to enter it.

Note: Maestro debit cards do not have expiry dates. To add a Maestro debit card, use 01/49 as the expiry date.
